Information we handle

The app stores preferences, custom decks, recent sessions, and similar app data on your device.

When you use an online session, we process the session code, display name, role, deck and cards, votes and session activity, basic app and device information, and an app-specific device identifier. Other people in the session can see shared room information, including display names and revealed votes.

If you contact us or send feedback, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your message and email address, along with basic app, device, and usage information that helps us troubleshoot. Our servers and service providers also process ordinary technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and synchronize sessions, reconnect participants, remember app preferences, respond to support requests, understand general usage, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use it for targeted advertising.

How information is shared

We share information with people in your session as needed for the session to work, with providers that host and support the service, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information, show third-party ads, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

We require providers acting for us to use information only for the services they provide and to protect it to the same or an equivalent standard as this policy.

Retention and deletion

Information stored on your device remains there until you delete it or uninstall the app. Online session information is kept only as reasonably needed to operate SprintVoter, support reusable sessions, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Some session configuration, app-specific identifiers, and aggregate activity may remain after a session ends. Feedback and technical records are kept only as reasonably needed for support, reliability, and security.

You may request deletion of information linked to you through the app's Feedback screen. Because SprintVoter has no user accounts, we may need a session code, email address, or similar detail to locate the relevant information.

Your choices

You can use a nickname, choose whether to send feedback, manage camera access in iOS, and delete local information in the app or by uninstalling it. The camera is used only when you choose to scan a session code. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal information.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
